Greetings everyone! If you follow me on Instagram you would have noticed I went to the beautiful city of New Orleans a few weeks ago. While scrolling through some photos I decided to post about one of my fave restaurants I was able to enjoy while there. While taking a morning stroll on the famous Bourbon street me and my dad decided to stop at this cute little restaurant by the name of Desire Oyster House.
At first glance I wasn’t to sure if they served breakfast because there was only the dinner menu on display in the front corridor of the restaurant but after being greeted by the hostess and inquired about breakfast we were quickly seated and adorned with menus.
While in New Orleans I had compiled a foodie bucket list of dishes that was a must try during my visit to NOLA so of course I spotted my first dish which was Shrimp & Grits. Now let me say that these had to be the best Shrimp & Grits I have had ever tasted. Honestly if its not New Orleans style its just mediocre because they did they thang on that dish. The flavors and spices and additional meat and creole sauce had my body rocking! Such a hearty dish full of taste budding flavors this is definitely a must order if you get a chance to visit Desire Oyster House for breakfast.
