I am so excited that I have pulled off another Greedy In The City! I want to first thank every single lady that took the time out to attend my event and enjoy some great food with me. We had so much fun and ate sooo much food. This go round of Greedy in The City was so special to me because it was my 1 year Anniversary of GITC,. I can’t believe just a year ago I was pondering on this idea which then turned into full out execution plan. I am so grateful that ladies want to link up with me and clink glasses and feast on delicious food.
Well this time around I featured another Black Owned restaurant called The Spicy Belly. Located in Manayunk, Pa the name definitely fits the food. The restaurant specializes in a Jamaican & Korean infused menu and the combinations are definitely worth trying. The owners and staff were more than accommodating when assisting me with pulling off a yummy menu for my ladies.
With a family style menu, unlimited passionfruit mimosas and greedy girl gift bags for each girl, I will say that Greedy In The City was a success. The menu featured some of my favorite items from the menu like Southern Shrimp & Grits, Seoul Chicken & Waffles, Jerk Chicken EggRolls, Cod Fish Fritters, Plantains, Seitan Tacos.
