What a time to be alive (cues Drake)… Its moments like these that I just jump for joy when presented amazing meals.  I had the pleasure of going to Rose Petals Cafe & Lounge in the Germantown section of Philadelphia for a brainstorming session with a girlfriend and Im so happy she picked this really cool and comfy place.
Black Owned and staffed this super cute cafe has been on my radar forever and I couldn’t believe it has taken me so long to patronize. The service, food and presentation was just too good and I will definitely be back for more.
The menu consist of a delicious variety of creative comfort food, ranging from a long list of waffle combinations to a delicious assortment of sandwiches, salads and paninis.
Because I am super sucker for a good waffle I wasted no time to trying the Pulled Maple Chicken Waffle, that was topped with spinach and a delicious sweet pepper. Now I never tried a waffle with spinach and peppers but it was a burst of flavors and I’m so happy I gave it a go.
