Juicy Jae: Devon Seafood & Grill Recap

During Restaurant Week I had the chance to grab a bite to eat at Devon Seafood and Grill. Now this stop was totally unplanned I just happen to be running around downtown with my friend and of course we got hungry and instead of stopping at Chipotle, which I love by the way we decided to sit down and and have a cool lunch.

This was a cool treat because my friend had never been to the restaurant before, so I decided to try it again since their service, ambiance, and food are always on point. So since it was restaurant week it just made since to try the place and lunch was only $20.

Now it was super duper cold outside and the wind was whipping hard and I was really in the mood for a hot chocolate, but all they had was tea so my waiter was the man and had the bar whip up the best hot toddy I ever had ( tea w/ bourbon )

So for my appetizer I enjoyed a delicious Caesar Salad… I’m not a soup/bisque person even though I heard it is super awesome.

My friend had the lobster bisque I forgot to snap a photo but he tore it up lol…

For my entree I went with the Steak and Frites (fries)

So I accidentally started eating this meal before I snapped a photo (which I know is a big No!)

I also ordered the famous Lobster Mac & Cheese as a side dish… Get ready to drool!

Not done drooling… now just breakout into a full out slober… I couldn’t take the pic fast enough.

My friend ordered the Chicken Penne Pasta which looked super scrumptious

For dessert I enjoyed the Devon Cheesecake, which was actually a lemon cake with cream cheese icing and mixed berries…

Now I must admit the first cake they gave me was super hard and old. But my waiter was the bombdotcom and took care of that immediately and thats why he got a nice tip lol.

So I must say that trip to Devon Seafood & Grill was amazingly good… I look forward to visiting more often.. Plus if you sit by the window you have an amazing view of Rittenhouse Square.
