Hey everyone! This by far has be one of my favorite post about a restaurant to date. I had the opportunity to visit one of my new faves Starfusion Restaurant and I was blown away. Not only was the food, decor, atmosphere and staff super amazing but I honestly had a ball when I made my visit. I decided to bring my photographer Taylor (mamaphotog) along for the yummy trip because the chef was expecting me for the day.
First let me start by telling you that I initially planned to conduct an interview with the owner/ Chef Darlene Jones of Starfusion Restaurant located in West Philadelphia. She invited to her cozy establishment because she wanted me to sample the food and boy let me tell you I am super happy I took her up on her offer.
Not only is Starfusion Restaurant an amazing place to dine because the the food is awesome, it is literally an all around experience. The menu is a an eclectic mix of Thai Street Food, Modern American and Caribbean cuisines that will have your tastebuds screaming for more. The portions are out of control and you will definitely leave with a doggy bag for later (who doesn’t love good left overs).
Another plus about this restaurant, its BYOB ( Bring Your Own Bottle). Knowing that ahead of time I stopped and grabbed a bottle of wine which I enjoyed during my dining experience. If you don’t want to bring a bottle, no worries they have plenty of refreshing juice options that are served in these uber cute mason jars.
The originality and flare that Chef Darlene and her team brings to this establishment is honestly unbelievable. Every single bite I took made me crave more. I can’t wait to stop pass again and bring more family and friends along with me. This the perfect place for happy hour, dinner parties, brunch and more.
Check out some of the dishes that I sampled
Shrimp Spring Rolls
Seafood Mac & Cheese w/ Shrimps, Scallops, & Jumbo lump crab meat
Thai Basil Salmon w/ Jasmine Rice & Vegetables
Please make sure you check out Starfusion Restaurant and tell Chef Darlene Jae sent you… lol
