Summertime sipping adds more fun to the idea of getting drinks. Cool libations in the summertime takes your mind off of all the crazy heat, well at least thats my excuse for joining happy hour.
This week I had a chance to take part in Center City Sips which happens every Wednesday until the end of August. Almost every restaurant and bar in Center City participates in half off appetizers and drinks from 5-7pm and of course I must participate as well. Plus its a super cool way to network in a not so stuffy environment.
Since the DNC was still going on I thought it would be a great chance to meet people in the city since it was jammed packed with tourist, media outlets and so much more.
Me and some friends decided to try out the Independence Beer Garden at 5th and Market since it was close to the exhibits we were checking out. I have been trying to go there for sometime now and it just happened to work out this time around.
The food and drinks were awesome. I had almost every app on the menu lol. Definitely give this place a try and make sure you order the Chicken Wings they were the bombdotcom.
