Twice As Nice: Bonefish Grill “Summer Duo” Restaurant Review

Hey my fab foodies! I had one of the most delicious dining experiences a couple of days ago at Bonefish Grill. Recently I posted their new “Summer Duo” promotion and a few days ago I had the opportunity to give it a try. The new promotion which ends on August 7th is full of some of your favorite menu items paired together for one amazing  entree. Starting at just $19.90 you have your choice of 6oz Wood grilled Center Cut Sirloin and 5-6oz Cold Water Lobster Tail, The Cod Picatta and Lobster Stuffed Shrimp or the Dayboat Scallops served with fresh pineapple salsa and paired with jasmine rice and veggies.

The new summer duo menu also comes with new cocktail features and savory dessert. I wasted no time getting to my choices and after looking over the menu, the staff actually suggested that I give the Sirloin and Lobster Tail a try. Served with hot drawn butter and the option of two sides, I decided to order the cheesy potato au gratin and green beans.

I ordered the  Sparkling Blue Hawaiian for my drink, which happens to be the new cocktail feature. I must say if you haven’t had the pleasure of going to the beach and enjoying a nice tropical drink, the Sparkling Blue Hawaiian definitely does the trick. The beautiful bright color just gives you Caribbean vibes for the evening, I could just hear the wave crashing with every sip I took.   Made with Guava Rum, Blue Curacao, Coconut, and Pineapple and Prosecco, the flavors are sure to turn your night into a great one.

I will definitely say from presentation alone I knew I was going to be satisfied, The steak and lobster tail was seasoned to perfection. The lobster was so juicy and the butter accompanied it very well. My steak was cooked just the way I ordered it -Medium, and the knife sliced right through it. To top of my surf and turf were the side dishes, it is a must that you order the potatoes au gratin. They are so good and cheesy and topped with bread crumbs for that additional crunch.  I am definitely a fan favorite now of those potatoes. I poured the butter over my green beans with delight and enjoyment. The extra little pour gave them even more flavor and I was a one happy greedy girl!

No meal is complete without a dessert and even though I was full from my dinner because the portions are definitely enough. I had to squeeze in dessert because I am a sucker for some sweet, and tasty bread pudding. The Summer Berry Bread Pudding was paired with a house-made brioche bread pudding infused with Grand Marnier and orange zest, served with fresh summer berries, ice cream, whipped cream and salted caramel sauce. Can you same scrumdiliumptious its not a word but I made it one because that dessert was beyond scrumptious.

This new menu was just what Summer ordered and I am all in for the options from beginning to end. The staff was amazing at BoneFish Grill in Willow Grove, PA. Major shout out to the Bartender who happened to be my waitress for the evening she was phenomenal.

If you are looking for an extradionary dining experience that is right on budget head over to your nearest Bonefish Grill before this promotion ends and tell them The Juice With Jae sent you.
