Event Recap: Moguls In Media Tour Kick-Off
Over the weekend I had the honor to attend this super cool and informative event called “Moguls In Media“. Hosted by Creator and Journalist Darcel the event took place in the Northern Liberties section in Philadelphia at WE Work facilities. Celebrating their 1 year anniversary of Moguls In Media this event was the kick off for the 2017 Moguls In Media Tour. Featuring a panelist of amazing individuals who represented different facets of media from TV Host Quincy Harris ( The Q show on Fox), PR gurus Mariah Oates & Keisha Brewer from (The PR Alliance), (NFL Films & Emmy Winner) Courtland Briggs, and Chef Christine Hazel from (Fox’s Hells Kitchen).
The focus of the event was to bring together a collection of young millenials and seasoned veterans in the media industry to give there insight and expertise on different topics in the media world. The event featured the panelist dropping gems and covering topics that included everything from balance, determination, mentorship and failure. Questions were answered throughout the discussion and the audience were able to get one on one time with each panelist to ask personal questions and snap photos.
The event was sponsored by Sheen Magazine and plenty of yummy libations provided by StarTenders and appetizers by Chef Christine Hazel were served throughout the night. I throughly enjoyed being a student and networking and seeing some old friends and making some pretty cool ones by the end of the night.
